Genevieve Jaide's music is rooted in the natural world, personal reflection, and the connections she's made along the way. Blending elements of folk, indie-pop, Canadiana and alternative. Her songs are both intimate and expansive, driven by honest, sometimes awkward lyrics, and a sound that moves between tender and groove-filled. Her latest release 'Why Am I Like This' navigates mental health, social anxiety, and the struggles of surviving in the world today. Offering a raw reflection of this snapshot in time. Based on Lheidli T'enneh Territory, Genevieve Jaide is joined by friends and long-time bandmates Brock Patch, Aidan Galletti-Viscount, and Justin Gendreau.
